How I work

Four steps. No surprises.

Every project follows the same four steps, whatever the size. The timings are typical, and your fixed price comes with a schedule for your project.

  1. We talk

    Usually within a week

    A free 20-minute call. Tell me about your business and what’s getting in the way. No jargon, no hard sell.

  2. I plan it

    A few days

    I recommend what to build and what to leave out, and give you a fixed price in writing before anything starts.

  3. I build it

    Typically 2–4 weeks

    You see it take shape and tell me what to change. I check every part myself before it goes anywhere near your customers.

  4. It goes live

    Launch day, then ongoing

    I test bookings, payments and emails, launch it and show you how it works. Then I’m around if you need me.

What I’ll need from you

  • Your text and photos, or a rough idea of them. I can help write and source them.
  • Your logo and brand colours, if you have them.
  • Logins for your domain, hosting or store, if you already have them.
  • One person who can say yes to the plan and give feedback quickly.

AI makes it quicker to build. Experience makes sure we’re building the right thing.

I use AI tools to plan and build faster, and that’s a big part of why my prices are lower than a traditional agency’s. What you’re paying for is everything around it: working out what you need, making the decisions, checking the work properly, setting it up and being responsible for it afterwards.

If you’d rather nothing was built with AI, just say. It takes longer and costs more, but it’s your call.

What if I don’t like what you build?

You see the work as it takes shape and tell me what to change, so there are no big surprises at the end. Nothing is charged until you’ve said yes to the plan and the price.

Who owns the website when it’s finished?

You do. The website, domain and accounts are set up in your name, so you can move on whenever you like.

What if I need changes after it’s live?

Small changes and fixes are easy to arrange, and I can keep the site updated and backed up if you’d like. Just get in touch and I’ll say what it would take.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the size. A simple site is often a couple of weeks, while booking systems and shops take longer. You get a timeline with the fixed price, before anything starts.
